My approach: Psychodynamic & Relational

I approach therapy as a collaborative process of curiosity and reflection. Together we create a space where you can slow down, explore your inner world, and make sense of the patterns, emotions, and relationships that shape your life. My goal is to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself and finding new ways of relating to your experiences and to others.

My work is grounded in a psychodynamic perspective. This means we pay attention to how past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns may continue to influence the present. By bringing awareness to these dynamics, therapy can open possibilities for greater freedom, self-compassion, and choice.

I also work from a relational perspective. I believe that healing often happens within relationships, including the therapeutic relationship itself. The connection we build in therapy can offer a space to experience trust, authenticity, and new ways of being with another person.

My approach is also informed by a social justice lens. Our identities, communities, and the broader systems we live within profoundly shape our mental health and our lived experience. I strive to practice in a way that is attentive to power, culture, and systemic inequities, and that affirms the full complexity of who you are.

In practice, this means our work together may include reflecting on emotional patterns, exploring relationships, connecting with parts of yourself that may feel hidden or difficult to access, and making space for both insight and change. I aim to offer a thoughtful, engaged, and compassionate presence as we navigate this process together.
